Gemt under:

NB This blog post has been updated because the dates for the meetings in Copenhagen and Aarhus has been switched around!

Are you interested? Well, then stay tuned. I will be in Denmark to present an exciting opportunity for visiting scholarship at Stanford University and UC Berkeley in California in 2012. Feel free to drop by when I present these opportunities Monday September 5 in Copenhagen and Wednesday September 7 in Aarhus.

Stanford and UC Berkeley: No. 2 and 3 in the world!

This great opportunity is a result of a partnership between Innovation Center Denmark in Silicon Valley and two centres, H-STAR and CITRIS, at the Californian universities, which came in 2nd and 3rd in the most recent Shanghai ranking of the world's best universities.

H-STAR is an interdisciplinary research centre with focus on IT, design and user-driven innovation at Stanford University while CITRIS at University of California focuses on IT in society, health IT, as well as energy and climate research. CITRIS also includes a number of Silicon Valley's largest IT companies, for example Hewlett Packard, IBM, Oracle and Intel.

"Critical importance to career!"

The last few years more than 40 scientists from Danish universities have been on a visiting scholarship in California through the partnership with Stanford and University of California. More than 80 percent of these have indicated that the stay was of "critical importance to their research careers."
